Hi,

Can someone please help me with this query?

I am currently living in Ireland, but my visa office is New Delhi. I have completed by medicals, and am expecting to receive PPR at some point (hopefully!). Can I submit my passport in the Canadian embassy in Ireland, as my job doesn't allow me to travel back to New Delhi for such a long period?

I would highly appreciate any advise on this.

Thanks,
A

Bro...there was a post sometime back that mentioned that the PPR mail can be used to submit passport to any Canadian embassy for stamping. I do know that some of our folks who are in US and have received mail from NDVO have submitted it in NYVO and have got it stamped.

I suggest you call the Canadian Embassy in Ireland and check with them once you receive the PPR mail. I think they should have no problem in stamping it as all these information are maintained online.

Hi,

PR stamped on passports for my wife and myself at Abu Dhabi and our daughter at Ottawa, COPR received by all of us...landing planned in 1st week of May 2015.

Thanx once again to ashif_eee for starting the topic and to all the members who have kept updating the forum and given valuable information at all times.

I attended the CIIP session in Dubai and have been in contact with the partners of CIIP.

I have not read this on any post and would like to inform that my document, which I received where NDVO advised me to submit passports for stamping the PR contains a paragraph as below -
Confirmed Travel Itinerary:
Your travel itinerary/ticket must match the name as indicated on page 3. Please note that you must travel according to the travel itinerary/ticket provided by youas we will be sending this itinerary to our office in Canada to notify them of your arrival"

Thanking You once again

Rgds

Hi Guys, I received MR yesterday

In the mail its mentioned...

Dear Applicant :

Please find attached correspondence which refers to your application for permanent residence.

Medical forms and instructions are being emailed to you separately. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY AS THEY HAVE RECENTLY BEEN UPDATED. If you do not receive the separate instructions within 48 hours or if you have any difficulties opening the attached documents, please advise us by reply to this email.

I have not received any other mail re the medical forms.

Bit confused... shall i download them from somewhere,,Pl. share the link

Hi deepe,

Nothing to worry. You can just contact the hospital and tell the situation. They would have the medical forms with them. You can request them to allow you to do medicals with their form.

Thanks,

Hi Friends,

I have a small query.
The POF we need to show at the time of landing, is it must to be in CAD ?
We are 2 members and need to show around $14500 as POF. So can I take $6000 CAD along and show rest amount as my recent bank statement in INR?

Is this acceptable?

Hi All !!
Hope everyone's doing well!!
I have a question regarding the Proof of funds .

As we have to show the proof of funds at the Canadian Airport, I have opened a Scotia Bank Account and I am wire transferring the Money from my ICICI bank to Scotia Bank.

I asked from scotia bank representative, He told me that when you will do the wire transfer from ICICI Bank to Scotia Bank then ICICI Bank will give you a receipt telling that this much amount has been transferred from my ICICI account to Scotia Bank account. He told me that the receipt given by ICICI bank will only be used as the proof of funds.
Scotia Bank will not be giving any account statement to carry with ..

So my question is .. Will this work this way ?

Which city do you reside in, if I may ask? How did you go about opening up your account with Scotia Bank?

Kindly guide...

Cheers!!

Don't know the exact timelines of CPC-Ottawa...but for NDVO we are seeing an average of 6 weeks from 3rd line to 4th line

It's always better to carry PoF in CAD$$. You can take cash and for the rest you can carry TC's. Alternatively you can open a bank account in scotia bank and then transfer funds. You can carry the receipt of the transfer along with the statement as proof.

Hi Guys,

Have any of you had to undergo a creatine test for glucose found in the urine and have received third line update.

Reason i am asking is in my urine test there was glucose found and subsequently had to undergo a creatine test. The creatine test came out normal and it well within the range.

Been a week waiting for Third line.

Did they ask for HbA1C as well ? If creatinine is fine then I am sure you won't be having any problem. Wait and have patience, you third line will be updated very soon.
Al the best
