Hi,

Can someone please help me with this query?

I am currently living in Ireland, but my visa office is New Delhi. I have completed by medicals, and am expecting to receive PPR at some point (hopefully!). Can I submit my passport in the Canadian embassy in Ireland, as my job doesn't allow me to travel back to New Delhi for such a long period?

I would highly appreciate any advise on this.

Thanks,
A

I am in the same situation. I think we will have to request NDVO to allow us to take stamp in Ireland. Once they approve then you can send it to Ireland or wherever they mention.

But do not and i am specifically say "PLEASE DO NOT SEND PASSPORT VIA COURIER"...It is illegal to send indian passport via courier or letter to India. Do not do this

Hey Congrats Pradhan.. When do you plan to fly ? Pls keep us all posted on the landing experience.

Thanx mate. I am planning to fly most probably by midweek of May.. yeah will share my experience.

Cheers

You may want to email to transfer your case to current country of residence. However this will change your case officer and your new case officer may review the case in some new light which might not be in your favour. If you are not willing to risk it then finding out some reason to take leave / travel to India is the safest option. Individual circumstances vary so how much risk a person wants to take is dependent on her own situation and preferences.

My FBI app reached on 8th aug 2014, cc charged 7th sept 2014, called up the helpline and got to know the PCC should have been shipped no later than 5th Nov. Received on 13th nov in Delhi. hope that helps.

Thank you for your response... +1, although I may not be able to give you at present...

You are right in not sending passports via courier. However you may send via some friend/family or you may email them to allow which they may or may not entertain (they accepted in some cases). The safest is to travel to India and submit at VFS in person.

Still waiting for email to arrive..I am in Canada and my visa office is NDVO. So i need to send them an email to change my visa stamping office to CPC-O.
Congrats dear...wwish u a speedy ppr

Dear all, thank you for all the support. I received my medical request 2 days ago. With the email I also received a form I was required to fill regarding government service, as in how long I have worked with the government and what were my duties? Has anyone else experienced something similar? It's kinda worrying.
2. What are the next steps?,do I pay the fee right away as I prepare to send the document and send them together or do I have to wait for medical request to be sent by the doctor? Someone please advise me on the detailed steps.
3. Can one really get a rejection after medical request? Assuming you pass the medical request? Haven't they already done enough background checks?
this waiting thing seems like a never ending worry trail...I wish I could finally get the visa and relax....thanks buddies.

hello guyz my interview was on 24 march and yes the good news is that i cleared this step successfully... after all questions asked by VO regarding my job experience, proof of funds, education, family in canada, and asked me for Police certificate he said you satisfied me and u r eligible... When he said WELCOME TO CANADA that moment was like i am dreaming hahaha really the VO was so young polite and freindly. the overall experience was so good, at last VO said me that MR will be sent to u within 2 weeks, and you can now start your preparation for canada.... thanks to Almight Allah that he gives me this wonderfull chance and blessed me with success... and the more good news is that today is 26 and i received MR and RPRF hahaha just after 2 days after interview thanks Allah for this blessing :D
