How do we required to pay for return courier? And how much amount is to be paid??

We did it through our consultant, we provided the passport rest all they had done, so not sure what all docs they hv kept, but we provided only passport and photo.

Hi Seniors,

My cousin changed her name to add the surname along with her name. She is applying for dependent visa while her husband is main applicant. Both of them are working, so they are showing funds in three accounts, her husband's account (salary account), her own account (salary account) and their joint account. As she changed her name some time back and got her passport made with the changed name but her education documents still show the name without the surname.

-Her salary account contains her name without surname (Old name) and their joint account contains her new name (name with the surname)
-To change her name, she had to get affidavit made and she was required to submit that original affidavit in the Indian passport office to get a passport with the new name. Thus she does not have any affidavit of the date when she changed her name.

Her questions are
- Would it create any problem if she submits joint account statement with the new name and salary account statement with the old name?
- Would CIC object as she is submitting an affidavit of current date as a proof of name change while she changed her name in 2012?

Could you please help with her above questions?

I am planning to take my wife along with me and my tentative time to leave for Canada is July/August 2015.

I need your help to understand the process/forms to be filled for enrolling her for her PR. Should i apply her PR before landing Canada or I can apply after landing and getting the PR card.

Can anyone help with the process to follow for Medical to be completed in NZ for my husband though I am the primary applicant and I am in New Delhi. Do I have to inform VO (my file transferred to Warsaw from NDVO) and wait for their instructions or simply send the form I received in MR email to my husband to get the medicals done.

Please advise is it a long process ?

Any senior who can throw some comparision on sending PPs thru courier / vfs in terms of following:

How much are we required to pay in both modes?
In case of sending PP thru courier, how do we pay for return courier?
How much aprx time it takes from sending to receiving PPs back after stamping in both cases? Is vfs faster?
If we send it thru courier, can we track the status of PPs as in case of vfs??
What all docs are req to be sent along with PP?? Is the doc requirement same in both the cases??
In case of vfs, do we have an option to get it couriered to our home??

Medicals could be done at any empanelled physician worldwide...so your husband can get his medicals done at NZ. No requirement of informing the VO. Simply mail him the required forms

Didn't your cousin ensure the entry in the relevant state gazette regarding name change...This is required as part of name change process in india. If that was not done then i suggest have it done and then attach a copy of the gazette as official proof of name change. She can make a fresh affidavit of present date, two ads in newspaper (english & vernacular) and have the name change notification done in official gazette. This would suffice even if actual name change happened earlier. I know of an acquaintance who did that with his spouse and his file was accepted
