Got my MR today .....thanks to everyone on the forum.....you have been of great support.

Need another favor though, in the corresponding email with MR.....CIC has asked me to send three documents:

1. Photocopies of all pages of passport for all family members. Is this normal?? This is Normal
2. Payment receipt of RPRF fee.
3. Police certificate(s) from India for your spouse and must include former name. (Now i know that the passport office doesn't write the former name (before wedding) on the PCC so what are they expecting here? Do i need to go the state where she stayed before marriage and procure this? Are there any other options? If her name has changed since marriage. You may have to check with Local PSK if they can provide a PCC with her former name. If they cannot provide, then create a cover and send it to WVO

Another question to those who had their files transferred to WVO......where do we courier the physical documents? NDVO or WVO office address:

In RPRF email, at the bottom of the mail. You will have a PDF attachment with your application number as it's name. In that email, you will see something like this at the end

Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission at the address indicated below.PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS. and there will be an address at the end of the page

For me, it stated Immigration Section - Service de l'Immigration 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021 India

Check what does it state for you. Send it to the address mentioned there

Does anyone had situation like this??

I got medical request. I have to submit medicals within 30 days along with RPRF, PCC and passport copies (condition specified in the email: The
passport should be the passport that you intend to use to enter Canada)

My question is around passport as my passport is going to expire in November, 2015 so I have to apply for a new passport.

• Can I ignore the condition specified in bold above and send copies of my current passport (expiring soon) for now as I might not get new passport within 30 days. AND send copy of new passport when I get it (might be after 45 days)?

If i were you, I would get my passport renewed now under Tatkal Scheme. You will receive a new passport within 7 - 10 days

• If above is possible, how do I inform them later about the new passport? Through CSE (Case Specific Enquiry)?

If you choose to renew later, then send a CSE with scanned copies of Bio pages of new Passport & you will also need to send copies of bio pages of new passport to NDVO through courier

Congrats on MR. My suggestion is to get your passport renewed as soon as possible.

My application reached CIC on 9/10/2014 and I got PCC for India on 16/10/2014 (few days after applying)

Now I got MR email also asking for India PCC but PCC is older than 6 months. But since I got PCC after applying, would it be valid?

Or I need to get new PCC?

It is better to get a new PCC

Which address do I need to send these documents? Do I send this to the Central Intake Office in Sydney, where i sent the original application?

I have ICICI Lombard Insurance which is a term insurance. As per their documents, customer service. I can avail this insurance in Canada.

30 days for PCC. If you need extension, send a CSE and VO will provide the extension

I am on the way boat, still waiting for Manila visa office for MR after PER. I applied Oct 8 and got PER on Jan 15 and still no update second line on ECAS. Is there any way we should do by now?

If they have stated to sent the documents to their email address. You can send it to their Mailbox.

You dont need to worry since they have specified in their email to send all the documents to their Mailbox

2. Can we land at any other location rather than city mentioned in application.
3. Do we need to carry POF exactly what we have shown in total in application.

I landed last April and I want to use my Funds to upgrade to my profession here in Alberta. The question is, I am still waiting fro my PR cards to arrive but If Im gonna use the money in the bank..will there be a chance that CIC will cancel my card since i don't have enough funds already? You know, trying to practice your profession here entails a lot of money to be spent on the process. Its like Applying for a new PR again and again..any thoughts??

I waited 4 months to get MR, sans much expectation.


Now I can't wait for PPR. My consultant says that an average waiting time of 2-3 months is expected(LVO).

Time's passing by so slow
