Hello All,

Just wanted to share some information regarding how much importance is placed on PCC. If you notice my timeline i am waiting for almost 6 months now since MR. I had repeatedly been thinking as to what could have gone wrong in my case. My first thought was medical but then the 3rd line update clearly states that your medicals are clear. Then it was the RPRF fees, obviously if that would have been an issue they (NDVO) would have rung me up asking for the money. Last and final was PCC. Now i have a travel record of about 15 months out of India. I submitted my India PCC along with the application but could not submit the VN PCC during application.

So in my medicals email i was asked to submit the VN PCC. During medicals i inquired for the same through a representative in New Delhi. The VN Embassy verbally stated that i will have to go to VN to get the PCC and nothing else can be done. They specifically told my Rep that since i had all the necessary Exit / Entry stamps & Work Permit & Residence card this was equivalent enough to a PCC. My rep asked for this in writing but they refused. Hence I then wrote a letter to the Immigration officer explaining the situation and the problem in obtaining PCC and requesting further advisement. Twice the Visa office has sent mails rejecting my explanation but they were returned undelivered. The third time i was lucky and on 29 April i got the email in which they have categorically rejected my explanation and asked me to submit the PCC.

Now this time in order to avoid any untoward incidents , i personally went to the New Delhi. Visited the VN embassy and requested them to help me. But they were just not ready to entertain me for this. This time they told me that i have to either go there or i have to contact my former employers for the same. I requested them to give me in writing again they rejected. Finally i was able to convince them to write this on my request letter and counter sign and stamp it. Then i contacted my old company and requested them to help me out. My former company officially wrote a letter to the Judicial department asking for my PCC but they also rejected stating that they cannot do anything if i am not present in the country. So this time i have submitted this counter signed document of my request to VN embassy and along with that all the email conversations with my former company and an OLD PCC which my company had made during my initial stay in VN.

My mistake i feel was that along with my initial explanation letter i did not submit any supporting docs which would have helped prove that i did try whatever i wrote in the explanation.

I do not know what is going to be the outcome of my case (although i keep having hope). but i do hope this will help others who are yet to reach this stage and be prepared in advance.

Yours is a really unique case....and I can understand a bit how much frustrating time you must have gone through following up on all this ...I really really wish that all your hard work doesnt go in pain and you should sail through just like your username ;)

[size=10pt]Today was one good day. Hope everyday we will get such showers from NDVO and all the VOs.

Did anyone kept a note of total no. of PPRs sent by NDVO today?

In my case, i had submitted an affidivit for my wife mentioning that all the name mentioned in various certificates and documents are of one and the same person

How can this be totally new though? Am i the first one who has been asked for a PCC with my wife's maiden name? I thought there would be a lot of ppl who had a similar case.....

Gaurav.....are you suggesting that i attach an affidavit now? Because i dont think they will accept an affidavit in place of a PCC at this stage.

No,this has to be sent to the local Warsaw VO. We have got nothing to do with the Sydney office, once your file is transferred to the local VO

so your file was also transferred to WVO from NDVO and you couriered these documents directly to warsaw?

BTW Hearties Congratulations to all those who received PPR today.....really happy for you guys :D :D :D :D
