Hi Guys,

I applied from Dubai last year (June 2014). Received my med request on 16th April. Scheduled a medical appointment for 4th May in Mumbai.

I have slightly high BP and a lot overweight (read: Obese). Worried about the meds. My BP has come down a lot though, thanks to the in-process weight reduction and I'm not taking any medicines for that. Hope to clear it all in one go!

I am in Dubai.The doctor wanted me to do a full cardio check as he heard a different sound.Then I had to to Serum test,ECO cardio,stress test,ECG etc.My BP was bit high due to panic(White coat hyper tension),other than that everything was normal.It cost me 2100 AED .So do not worry.If your BP is high,the doctor might ask you to do serum test.It is not a serious heath issue.Cool

Dear All,

I applied for FBI PCC in Jan'2015. As per latest update from FBI, PCC has been released from their end on last Friday (17th Apr 2015) via normal post. But even after a week I could not receive it.

Can someone please help me to know, how to track the post (As per customer care executive of FBI, they don't have any tracking number)?

Generally how many days does it take to deliver the PCC?

I also applied for FBI Pcc in November and got it in march. It took 12 days to reach here India after dispatching date from USA. So call to customer care and ask your dispatching date and calculate 12 to 14 days for mail delivery. If it does not come then ask for duplicate copy.

Wanted to share good news that we have received MR from Colombo VO. Hoping for the best and all the best to all who are waiting for DM/PPR/MR.

Fixed appointment in Hospital for May 2, 2015 in Chennai.

Any any idea how long it will take for further process. Do we need to continue my kid for next session. Her session will start from June 2015 till Mar 2016. Plz suggest. This decision should depend on when you receive your PPR

Hi Guys.

I received my second line update this week saying "We have started processing your application on 16th April, 2015". My file was received on 2nd October 2014.
So,I think the next step would be that visa office would do my verification from my employer. I work in a major IT company in India which is fairly reputed. However I consulted with my HR and she informed that they will not be confirming any call from anybody regarding any of their employees (apparently for security reasons). I am very sure, there must be many other applicants who have had similar situation. Just wanted to know how do the visa office will get confirmation of the details I provided in my file. Or if they do not get any confirmation, will they reject my file?
They can check with the guy who's reference I provided while giving my roles and responsibilities document. Would that be enough?

Hint:- I work for one of biggest IT companies in India who mass hires every year. If any one got the name, please help me how to pass this hurdle and how did you do it?

Most of the IT Companies \ MNC's do not verify employee's information on Call. If VO calls for verification, they will be asked to send an email with proper authorization.

Reasons

• No Matter what the other person may say that he or she is. True identity of the person calling can never be validated.
• Most of the times, Calls come from competitors \ Job consultancies checking on how much the other company is paying the employees. more of social engineering.

I once had the same questions that you have right now and that was my HR's response

She (HR) just informed that if VO really is interested in knowing \ verifying applicants and they are genuine sources of VO. Then they should not have a problem validating who they are by sending an email through VO official mailbox.

Note : Verification does not happen for everyone. It is totally based on the documentation provided and Visa Officer's discretion. In some cases, few cases are picked up for quality checks
