I got my request for visa stamping yesterday. Anyone knows how long will they take for stamping and return my passport? I have booked a vacation end of May so definitely need my passport before that.

Not required brother. Follow as per the instructions sent by NDVO in the MR/RPRF email.. Just send the docs through courier and keep the scanned copies with you for any future reference.. Sending details which are not required or asked by NDVO is not advisable as per my opinion

Is it recommended to send scanned copies of Medical proof, RPRF receipt, PCCs and Passport bio pages to Visa office (NDVO) by email or not

What are the pros and cons

Hi Brother ..

Below are the details we generally receive from NDVO for MR/RPRF

First email - its like a main email where Cover letter, CIIP docs are attached..

From: <DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca>
Subject: <File Number> <Name>

Second Email - Medical request email. IMM1017 medical form is attached to this email. One email for each applicant (Primary and dependents)

From: "Do Not Reply - Ne Pas Repondre" <Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca>
Subject: Citizenship & Immigration Canada: Information about <File Number>

Do not worry if u didnt receive CIIP docs in ur first email, as they are no way used.. You can use Medical request email to upload in CIIP site to register for CIIP sessions.. So no worries

Hi brother ..

Yes u have to carry IMM1017E forms along with you.. below are the details requested by CMM Medical center Hyderabad (its e-medical enabled center) for your quick reference

The process involves 2 visits – the first one for testing and the second one for physical examination by the panel physician. Though the whole process would be done in one day for most cases, it could be longer in some.

To be brought at the time of your appointment for each applicant -

1. Original Passport (PAN Card / Aadhar Card in original if our Passport is with the CHC). In case you do not possess any of these then bring along a clear copy of your passport (first and last pages).
2. A photocopy of the first and last page of the passport on a single side of A4 sheet (write your current address, phone number and e-mail ID behind the photocopy)
3. For Students - Offer letter issued by the College
For Work category - Company letter indicating the applicant to proceed with medical examination (Spouse and Children's names should be included in the letter, if accompanying)
For those applying in Family class (where spouse is residing in Canada) no specific document is required.
5. For applicants who have already started their process with CHC - Letter from Canadian High Commission with IME /UCI /UMI Number.
6. Rs 4100/- in Cash for adults ; Rs 2300 for children (11-15 years); Rs 1600 for children (5-10years) and Rs 1400/- for children (<5years).
7. Any previous medical records/ spectacles or contact lenses (with Case) if any.
8. If any further tests are required the applicant would have to bear the additional expenses.

As the medical process may take upto 2 hours for each visit, you are requested to kindly cooperate.
Women : Please note that the urine test would return abnormal if done during or soon after the menstrual period. So it is advised for you to request for an appointment 8 days after the last day of the period. Do mention your menstrual date in your reply.


Below details mentioned in IMM1017E form

Please bring the following to your appointment:
- The attached Medical Report form (IMM1017E)
- Proper identification (proof of identity must include at least one government-issued document
with photograph and signature, such as a passport or national identity card)
- Eye glasses or contact lenses, if worn
- Any medical reports or test results that you may have as a result of previous or existing
medical conditions
- Four recent photographs (photos are not required if the panel physician is listed as “eMedical
enabled” on the CIC website listed above)

is Toronto a regular stopover for your flight or will you be spending some time here before going to Van ? If the latter, then landing formalities will need to be done at Toronto, else Van.

One PCC for one Country and you have to get it from all the Countries where you have stayed for more than 6 months..

Hi ALL..........Finally I got the medical mail ;D ;D ;D

just a query though if anyone can help with this, the mail mentions that "Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from INDIA"

Does this mean that i need to giv PCC just for my permanent address in Delhi or do i also need to giv PC from other states in India where i lived for more than 6 months ..for example my MBA was from other state (within India) and I worked also in another state for about 1 year.
