Dear Bass as far as i know in FD , if they come to Maturity than, even if we dont renew then the bank will automatically renew them for next one year. first of all i dont know whether we can show FD for POF and another thing if we can show them and if it is going to mature and renewal wont effect that as the amount still will be in his account.

any corrections if required to my statements, you r welcome to correct me.

Hello, FD's are accepted as POF. as they can at anytime be broken and the money be withdrawn. I had shown FD as POF. But ofcourse they should be in your name or spouse name. Land evaluations / Automobiles / Jewelry will not be accepted as POF.

Submitted passport to vfs on april 7,2015

I have received AOR mail stating that my file has been transferred to Warsaw VO and I should update them about any new information.

I have recently got married and need to add my spouse in the application.

Could you please guide me about the process?
Could you share the link from where I can download the forms for his application? I tried to search but only online application form is available under Express Entry and no other form could be found for FSW.
Could you please let me know which forms we need to fill for my spouse?

Just got Information from my Bank that my RPRF DD was encashed yesterday by NDVO.

Timeline are :
App Recd : Aug 15th
PER : 05th Dec
Second Line Update : Feb 16th ( Processing started Feb 12th)
MR Request : March 14th
MR Done : March 20th
Medical Received : March 27th
PCC, IME Forms and RPRF Sent - April 4th
RPRF DD encashed - April 16th

I hope RPRF DD encashment is a positive sign and a step closer to DM and PPR

seniors I have a clarification for my friend..he has shown funds as Fixed Deposit receipts for one year and now this month end its maturing...so should he renew the FD receipts or leave it like that, he is bit confused as he has just done his medicals.. seniors plz advice..

It is not required his fund should be in the form of Fixed deposit. Only criteria is whatever fund he has shown, it should be unencumbered.

Hi Everyone. Would like to share that, finally, I have received my Visa and COPR today morning after 47 days. I had personally submitted my passport with VFS, New Delhi on 2nd March (morning) and had opted to pick it up personally. I got the email yesterday evening from VFS that the processed passport has been dispatched from Canada Visa Office on 16/04/2015 and I collected the same today morning.

The following are my timelines:

App Received: 5th May
CC Charged: 29th May
PER: 18th June
Local VO Processing Started: 27th August
Medical Request: 3rd September
Medicals Done: 8th September
Additional Tests: Sputum test in mid September. Report came negative in November. Final Chest X-ray on 9th December.
Medicals Approved: 12th December
PPR: 27th Feb
DM: 28th Feb
PP Submitted: 2nd March
Visa Issued: 12th April
PP Received: 17th April
Visa Validity: 11th September

Thanks once again for all the help and support. I have already updated the spreadsheet.

these are FD's so there is no lock in period and hence he can renew the same too. FD is considered as liquid fund meaning which can be easily and immediately converted to cash. so he can keep it anyway even he is asked to show the receipts again it wont matter.

should not be an issue as the account number is bound to change on renewal. if asked to submit they will co relate with the older receipt as the maturity date will be mentioned and it all gets tied in.

Hay frens..my first line updated on 3 feb..." we recieved ur app on 10 nov""...still no 2nd line...is it normal?..Did u people get any call frm them to verify ur details?
