I (Dependent)am right now in saudi arabia for an official assignment which gona end on 9th June and my wife(principal applicant) is in india.

3rd line got updated on 11th April.As per the trend going on, I am assuming that we might get passport request in next 30-40 days which is like 12th May-20th May.

My queries:

* Once we receive the passport request - Can my wife raise a case specific query to NDVO for increasing our timeline of submitting the passports??
* If yes,What is the turnaround time of NDVO for reverting back on the passport related queries?
* Is it possible for the dependent to submit the passport in a different country?

there is no TAT thing for NDVO.

they dont believe in TAT what eva the problem issue we have..

MR & RPRF request 11th March .
3rd line up 21th March.
RPRF received 26 th March.

Not to worry .. the timeline is 2 to 3 months after 3rd line is updated... You will get it.. all the bets and good luck to all

No...You need to show the funds in CAD$$. One alternative is to take an exchange rate information from a reputed intl site and then use that along with the FD letter.
But I would not recommend it, just in case the officer does not accept then its a very long process. You have waited so long and sacrificed so much, don't make it tough during the last step. You might be loose some money but its better and safer to be in CAD$$.
