you can pay your rprf even if you have not received a separate email. its completely fine if you do this. pay online or send a DD, your choice. most of the applicants prefer online payment.

Thanks for your advise Vi2.... I'm posting a reply from my consultant after they checked with CIC regarding my query. Please note that I applied from India through a consultant who is in Toronto.

"I have not received any requests for your right of permanent residence fee. As soon as I do, I will inform you. They are not always requested together, and I called CIC to confirm. They said as you are outside Canada, we should wait to pay the fee as otherwise you will have to send the payment to Canada, where as if we wait it will be paid at your visa post."

Dear Friends ...this evening I got the update in VFS tracking "Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 02/04/2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre".
I submitted the passport to VFS on 16th March .

It's my very first post here. I wonder why I was not able to locate this wonderful opportunity before I applied for FSWP in 2014. Anyhow by the Grace of Allah Almighty I've already received an email for submitting Passports of me and my family. I've a question and to get the answer I googled them and got to know about this forum.

-->> They've asked for the updated information chart although I'd submitted it about a month ago. Now they say "The Updated Information Chart in Appendix A fully completed for you and each accompanying family member." What does it imply? Do they need only 1 updated info chart or 4 (as I've 2 kids) ?

this quesy may not be relatedt o FSW completely but

please help in answering my question..... I applied for the NSNP (NOVA SCOTIA NOMINATION PROGRAME) and they are requesting additional documents for name change (I changed my last name so my educational docs. have the old name and passport has the new name)

I sent them the GAZETTE OF INDIA stating my change of name but they say its not sufficient they need an official document for name change.


Similar problem was with me.... I gave advertisement in local newspaper and sent copy of newspaper and affidavit of name change to CIC...No cross question as of now..Hope its help you.

As far as I knew GAZETTE OF INDIA is the most official document available in INDIA, i have sent them an email asking them what they need precisely... CAN ANY ONE SUGGEST WHAT OTHER NAME CHANGE DOCUMENT MAY BE ACCEPTED BY NSNP OFFICIALS?

First I'd like to thank you all for your support, below is my updated status:

3 months ago I sent all required documents to update my application to add my new born daughter, today I received an email from LVO asking me to make the payment for the new born online as they don't accept credit card payments. I followed the link however a payment option under the FSW category is not available, this made me frustrated, will it be acceptable to pay the same fee under the family class and send the receipt number to LVO? could the officer be mistaken when he/she sent me the link?. Another thing is that in the same email I've been asked to send updated Schedule A background declaration form, below is what stated in the email:

" Please also submit the following within 5 days of the date of this email. The updated forms are required to conduct mandatory background checks."
is this normal? did it happen to anyone before? should it be submitted through the case specific inquiry (online) or do I have to send it through courier? appreciate your help guys ???

I am new to this forum....Need some HELP..

I forgot to send Passport bio pages along with RPRF, Medical completed packages. When I realized it I resent the photocopies but it crossed 30 days and in medical request email they have requested to send docs within 30 days.( Passport copies reached NDVO on 35th day after medical request.
My 3rd line has been updated on March 11 and medical done on March 2. RPRF, medical proof docs were sent on March 08.

No reply, updates since then.
Will this affect my processing or any chance of rejection due to this??
Please kindly suggest me.....very worried and regretful about missing that document. ( No changes or updates in passport than that submitted with initial application to CIO)....

A small query:

I have received my MR and tomorrow I will be done with that.
Before moving to Canada I want to visit USA for Examination purpose. So I will have a US Visa before having Canada Visa.
So, when I will send my Passport for stamping of Canada Visa, Can Canadian Embassy create a problem if I will have US Visa stamped on my passport?

After all with 298 days passed since application submitted on 4th june I got my MR on 28th March

Even after 5 months to PER was crossed awaiting eagerly..

M so happ to announce and share that I am now clear with this awkward waiting situation


This message is specially for those who feels that there files are kep awaited too long...

I was feeling bad as the guys who was asking my help and suggestions were cleared so fast and even one coleague was 3 months late than me but got MR last month'

Dear Forum members

The Journey which started for me on Mar 5,2014 with registering for ECA evaluation had completed its 1st phase today.

Received passports with VISA stamping with COPR's for entire family today from VFS Chandigarh.

Now starts phase 2 of the journey ahead and before starting that want to thank each member of this forum who in one way or other was inspiration to continue without lethargy and motivating as well in times of anxiety.

Thanks you everyone for being part of this journey and all the best for the people who are waiting for completing their 1st phase of this journey.

Planning to move to Toronto in second week of June,2015 and hoping to meet some of the friend there as well.

I got information that there are no implications in getting PR and then coming back to USA for some months? But still have following 2 questions.


- is there any timeframe to go back to Canada after getting PR?
- any idea on number of days it takes to get PR card?

Need some assistance. I am planning to complete my landing in July. I plan to complete the formalities at Toronto. Would it be possible to catch a flight which halts at Montreal and then to Toronto. There will be a plane change at Montreal. Will the FSW visa cause any issues at Montreal if we have to pass through border control
