What about the students who are waiting for the pgwp and have a trip to India and looking for the re-entry to the Canada.

If you leave you have to be prepared that it may be difficult returning to Canada for a few months.
May you elaborate more like what type of difficulty?
Canada opens the borders for students and workers and i am waiting for pgwp in India but still have visa and study permit which expires on April 2021.
Flights keep getting cancelled. That would be one of the reasons why it will be difficult.
That's means the problem is in the flights however I can travel to Canada while waiting for pgwp
ONE of the problems, not sure about your question. I would wait to see if there are others like you who have flown back.
The decision to let intl students back I believe was made very foolishly. I am not saying this will happen but as the numbers of infected rise like they are right now (600 today alone), they will definitely close the border once again. Proceed at your peril.
Safety comes first than this situation. I will come back later but I just pray that, this should be controlled first than anything.
