Yes, you can with your work permit visa for PGWP. Why not! How long is your PGWP or expiring date?

Hello There,

My study visa is expiring on Dec 31, 2014 and my PGWP is valid until 2017.

I was confused that whether study visa and pgwp can work or not.

Thanks

If you've PGWP, then you should've gotten a work permit visa which is issued together when you're approved. Were you outside Canada when your PGWP application was approved? I advise you inquire from the Canadian embassy at your place if you'll need a work permit visa for entry or if it can be issued at the POE. Your study visa/TRV is valid for study permit. I'm not sure if it's applicable to PGWP holders.

Hi Dok,

I had applied for my PGWP from within Canada. And need to apply for my TRV. That is why I was concerned that do I need to again apply for my PGWP TRV if my Study TRV is still valid?

Thanks

If your 'study visa' is nothing but a TRV, it will work well with PGWP to enter Canada.

Thank you J5M and Dok for the information.

You're welcome! But I'll highly advise that you directly inquire from Canadian embassy through e-mail at your place.
