Re-entering Canada on TRV after LMIA job loss

Hi,

I am in Canada on a closed LMIA work permit. However, I lost my job recently. I have a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) which is valid for multiple entries till next year. I got this visa when I entered Canada for the first time on work permit from outside the country. Can you please let me know if I will be allowed to re-enter the country on the TRV if I lost my job? Since I am planning to travel abroad for a month in October? Thanks

There are technically never any guarantees when it comes to reentering Canada. What stage is your PR application at?

That is at the very initial stages so it could be 6+ months until you get PR. If you leave Canada. When does your WP expire? Can you show enough funds to support yourself without working for around 6 months since you applied for the BOWP?
