Hello all,
After reading millions of posts here, I got few questions that would like to seek for advice:

(1) If I dont meet the obligation of staying 2 years out of 5, is it possible for me to enter Canada with another visa-waived passport that I have? That passport is not the one I used to apply for migration before and is not stamped for landing / visa but have been filled in my application during my immigration (but not same number as it has been renewed already).

(2) Is there any different to enter Canada using the above method if I (1) carry a valid PR card (but not fulling 730 days out of 5 years yet) or (2) carrying an expired PR card?

(3) Say if the above method of getting back in Canada works for me without being reported and I start staying in Canada for 2 years in order to renew my PR card again, how would CIC know I have been "staying for 2 years" if I was entering using that visa-waived passport but not my PR card?

(4)What is the chance to be able to return to Canada without being reported for my few years old child? I heard since the child is a minor and usually will be fined without reported? Or if she is really being reported, is that really true she can apply for PR back once she get to 18?

(5)If the husband stay in Canada to get the citizen while wife and child stay in hometown for few more years. Can the husband apply the child citizenship together with him when he fulfill the requirement (but the child has not fulfill 2 years out of 5 for PR or citizenship yet). Or is that if the husband can re-sponsor the child and the wife for PR after he successfully become a citizen while his family's PR are being revoked before coz not fulfilling 2 years out of 5?

Sorry for too many questions. These are all the questions I have doubt before making a solid decision of our move. Thanks.

Hello all,
After reading millions of posts here, I got few questions that would like to seek for advice:

(1) If I dont meet the obligation of staying 2 years out of 5, is it possible for me to enter Canada with another visa-waived passport that I have? Answer: Yes

(2) Is there any different to enter Canada using the above method if I (1) carry a valid PR card (but not fulling 730 days out of 5 years yet) or (2) carrying an expired PR card?
Answer: Yes, there is a difference. Entering with visa waived passport assumes your stay in Canada is meant to be of temporary in nature with no intention to work. Entering using PR card means you work in Canada and stay as long as you wish to. Entering using an expired PR card is not possible unless you carry landing documents or confirmation of PR with you.

(3) Say if the above method of getting back in Canada works for me without being reported and I start staying in Canada for 2 years in order to renew my PR card again, how would CIC know I have been "staying for 2 years" if I was entering using that visa-waived passport but not my PR card?
Answer: CIC works with various other agencies who can provide this information.

(4)What is the chance to be able to return to Canada without being reported for my few years old child? I heard since the child is a minor and usually will be fined without reported? Or if she is really being reported, is that really true she can apply for PR back once she get to 18?
Answer: If you want PR for your child, report to CIC now, any omission now will increase the possibility of an adverse outcome later.

Answer: When you apply for citizenship, every individual in the family, adult or not, is required to meet residency obligation. So your husband cannot apply for your and your child's citizenship if you two do not meeting the RO. After you husband becomes citizen, he sponsor your PR and clock will start ticking again.
