Hi,

I hav a very important query.
I am prospective OINP Human resource applicant.

And my EE is as old as April 2016.

M in the dilemma whether shall I withdraw and recreate my EE account or stick with the present one which will expire in next 2 months. Please suggest.

well as they say - do not count your chickens before they hatch.

you have not even receievd PT notification from OINP yet, and you are already thinking about nomination and profile expiry :)

OK first things first for you to even GET PT notification from ontario, your profile should be active...

so wait till you get the notification (if and when) , then submit your documents to OINP... you can create a new profile before submitting documents to OINP, however i would strongly recommend you first wait till PT notification is received before you try anything.

good luck.

OINP might come out with something like this

All those in EE since 6 months ( all profile created before 21st Aug ) and 400+ will get PT in the first phase................ :D :D

Do not touch your profile before the release of OINP updates on 21st Feb

Thank you for your inputs (but not for the opening line with sarcasm)

The reason I ask for recreating my account before OINP starts giving nominations is because of this old notification from OINP.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-updates-creating-new-profile-works-t384135.0.html

It suggested applicants to recreate profiles as there was a glitch in the online system which was not accounting for old EE accounts.
I also read that many people back then recreated their profiles.

So seek some more suggestions on this concern of recreating the profile. Would it recommended to do so now ?

Thanks for providing your perspective.
I hope it comes out with such notification...
But the question remains ...What if they only account for EE profile created after June 2016.
Same thing happened back then in 2015. Everyone started to recreate their profiles, correct me if I am wrong ?

system glitch is a old story. I would not make new profile until 21st. just 2 days more.

May be you are right. I should first wait for the actual OINP criteria to be released within next 2 days.
Taking a decision based on it, would be more logical.

you can also have 2 active profiles. remove one after 21st. if you want all options open.

What you should worry is IELTS. your IELTS must be one year old and if you dont get PT soon it might get expired while OINP is processing. so All those in the pool since long must update IELTS test results.

Hi,

About keeping two active profiles:

I want to play safe and maintain the status quo until OINP comes up with new guidelines for human resource stream.

Since its long weekend off + family holiday on this monday in Canada, therefore I would rather not expect to renew my EE account within 2 days.

So, lets wait and watch for what OINP has in store for human resource candidates.
