Hi guys

I had applied for my fiance TRV but got rejected on the basis of not having strong ties to her home country. She is an Indian citizen and lives is Dubai. Her dad is sponsering her visa in Dubai.
We are getting married by the end of December and I plan to sponser her to Canada. If I get registered married before that and apply for TRV, so she can travel back with me...would that be possible.?

Anyone know what the processing time is for a spousal sponsership for an Indian citzen living in Dubai?

Please advise

Yes, I am a Canadian...If i apply for her sponserhip and then travel over there to be with her, would that have any affect on the application? We have been apart for more than a year now, I want us to be together after marriage.

Apologies, but can you please explain how would it make her ties weaker...Wouldn't that be a good thing and strong evidence showing our relationship.

Thanks for you prompt reply.

Thank you for the clarification for the first question.

if you are a Canadian citizen living outside Canada, you must show that you plan to live in Canada when your sponsored relative becomes a permanent resident..
How do i go about doing this

Remember the intention of a temporary visitor visa is for someone to visit canasa not come live with their future spouse. Yes there are laws in place to allow people to adjust status in Canada but because of these laws it will be very difficult for her to get a visitor visa.

You are far better off getting married and working on her paperwork
