Hi,

Looking at good discussion and responses at this forum, I am posting my query. Hoping to listen to your inputs.

1. For September intake, study visa on general category was applied in July with all supporting documents from university along with tuition fee payment statement, GIC and medical clearance.
2. Few weeks later embassy asked to provide few more information related to medical and it was send it across by authorized hospital.
3. Here it was a shut, no response from embassy for about September first week.
4. Admissions date was near by and fortunately admission date was extended till mid of October.
5. Here we sent a letter to embassy to get to know the status.
6. No responses and it was 2nd week of October by then.
7. For a week time to start of course in university, all of a sudden we got call from embassy, they said "Will you be able make your travel arrangements before your classes begins". We said yes, it can be done, we are waiting for passport with VISA. They asked again, "you sure, you can make your travel in next three days". We said yes.
8. Later the passport was release from embassy.
9. VISA was rejected :(.

Now, we have pushed the admission for Jan intake and are in process of reapplying visa.
Below was the information given in rejection letter:

1. According to Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Acts and Regulations, as an applicant of a study permit, you must establish that your intentions are bona fide and that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay. You must satisfy an officer that you will not contravene the conditions of admission and that you do not belong in a category of persons inadmissible to Canada under Act.

2. You must satisfy an officer that you have adequate financial resources to pay tuition fees and support your stay in Canada.

3. Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities or your future prospects and Plans. [this exactly was ticked in rejection letter]

Please help in this to understand what additional documents or write up should be provided to embassy in response to this rejection letter.
We are very short in time to re-apply and I am really looking for inputs and any information that would be helpfull.

Thanks,
-J

I wanted to do Administrative course outside, MDS I didn't think of doing it outside.
I decided to take "Global Health and Human Services Administration" as my specialization.

And yes, I did provided SOP to embassy while applying VISA.

Hi frnds,
I m little bit confused and depressed after getting 3 times of rejection from Canada. Please help me out. I m a medical student of c.b.s.e board and got 65% marks(physics-52,biology-57 and chemistry-57)and my ielts score was 6.5 overall(listening-7.5,speaking-6.5,reading-6.5 and writing-6.0). I had choosed INDUSTRIAL MICROBIOOLOGY in Centennial college first time but my visa was rejected for the reason that the proposed study is not related to ur previous study. I reapply for the same session(sep2013) with the same program and college as i think that my program is related to my study but again i got rejection but this time they mentioned that my purpose of visit is not clear and they think that i m financial weak also. Now I had again applied for jan session but i changed my program to chemical lab technician in sheridan college and this time i paid the full fees to satisfy that i have enough money i also showed $14000 as extra funds and make them clear that i will leave canada after complition of my course to satisfy my purpose of visit but again i got rejection with a same reason that the proposed study is not related to the previous study........So what do u think i should again apply for canada or i should try for any other country or i should continue my study in India only? Please frnds help me out........Thankx in advance

Yes that what the VO thinks ur advance studies must be MDS,, which is available in India too ,, rather joings MDS why u are going for MHA,, therefore he rejected u, find something more related to BDS,, I mean, think ur self,, dental surgeon is going for administration services,, make no sense,,

First thing - You have posted this in 4-5 other topics...this is not right...many members have already responded to you elsewhere...you should try to post your question only once or twice and not 4-5 times. People will respond to you. Almost every other page I browsed to help members of this forum I found this post of yours....hence decided not to respond to you initially.

Secondly - Are you a medical student? or some one who graduated with a biology option from CBSE? Are you studying in a medical college now or have you graduated? Please clarify. You need to improve your profile to get approved for a visa. It is not just about the course you are choosing but also your grades, IELTS, Over all academics, SOP etc. You will need to write a letter to explain why you are choosing this course and university and the relation to your studies.
