Hello all the immigration gurus and experts out here
Dear I applied in Sept 06 for FSW for NOC 0621 ( Retail and trade owner) and got AOR in Oct. 06. I have done MBA (Marketing). Now my profession is not listed in 38 hot profession list.

I have also served as hotel manager for nearly 2 years, besides retail trade experience.I will apply in PNP as Hotel manager ,which is in hot profession list.

My question is weather i should apply for a PNP. Will i have to withdraw from FSW or can i apply side by side in PNP.

If FSW and PNP can be applied at the same time , then my NOC will be different in both programs, will it not effect my credibility in the eyes of immigration authorities.

I have done MBA(Marketing). For appplying for hotel manager , i have no hospitality related education. I want to get admission in a one year diploma in Hotel management. Is it feasible and will it help in getting my case stronger for hotel manager occupation. Will it not be strange to have hotel related education after expereince. ( Cart before horse type situation).

Please i want expert advise upon this scenario. When i should apply for hotel manager? After doing one year diploma or before. Should i withdraw FSW application or should i also apply for PNP.

Answer anxiously awaited.

Thanks

Managers in Hotel fall under the magic 38 to be processed within one year in Sidney N.S,Welcome to Canada
Hello BC Guy,

Would you kindly clarify some things for me..

THE SCENARIO
My wife and I are now seriously considering applying thru PNP - BC .
We currently have a FSW (me as the principal applicant)application and its been 4 years now and counting.
During those 4 years of waiting, My wife took up Nursing and shes now a registered Nurse.

MY QUESTIONS
1. Can we actually file for another application while one is on-going?
2. Even without actual hospital working experience yet, will my wife qualify under the 38 'magic' categories?
3. What is Sydney N.S. ?
4. Is there some sort of a way that an agency in your country can 'sponsor' my wife (probably shoulder the CRNBC registration fee) to be paid for by us once shes settled there? (pushing our luck here, hehe)

Thank you very much !

1 i heard you can have two application in different categories going at the same time, but someone should confirm it first.

2 she will qualify for the 38 list for FSW category 1, if she has one year of continuous experience in one of those jobs.

3 Sydney is a town in Nova Scotia. This is where FSW category 1 candidates initially send their application. Once sydney says ok, then you send all the documentation to the visa office.

4 ?
