Re-Applying for visa ... Islamabad ...

hay guys,

I need to ask few questions .. its urgent as i am already late ..

i am reapplying again for the FALL session .. i was rejected last year by the canadian embassy despite of my strong case ... any how i want to ask you few things ..

1) do i need to explain them why i am reapplying again? if yes then how? any letter format??
2) should i attached my visa rejection letter with my application?
3) should i write same(copy/paste) reasons on visa application form for which i was rejected last year?



FYI :
Program name = Engineering Management
University = University of ottawa
Current job + expirence = Software engineer + almost 3 years of expirence
Rejection Reason last year :
A) I am not satisfied that you would depart from Canada after completing your proposed studies as you do not have sufficient ties to Pakistan to ensure your return
B) Considering your employment and academic history and the availability of similar programs of study in pakistan, I am not satisfied that your sole purpose for going to canada is to further your education.


I dont know why i was rejected last year .. while one of my friend who had applied with me got the VISA (everything from DOCs to Education to Financial status + JOB type were same as him)

Hey i think you need to write a letter of purpose; in which you should explain how getting a better degree would help you get a better job in Pakistan and how you can add to the community.

I dont think there is any need to attach your rejection letter. Just tick tht you've been rejected earlier and write 'for the following reasons'.

Please keep in mind that you should only apply if you think your situation now has changed considerably and that you have strong ties to Pakistan and that you'll come back.

I dont know about your work history so i cant comment on that.

i know this question is asked 100 times over here about how to proof strong ties .. my sponsor is my uncle because my father died 10 years back and now my uncle is our guardian since then becuz my uncle(father's elder bro) and my father had join business here.. so i am showing all of my uncle's documents .. we also have few properties but it's under my mom name but i m not showing it becuz she is not my primary sponsor .. so how can i show strong ties to home country to the officer because that is the only reason i can see that will create any problem?

btw what is the ratio of issuing visa who are rejected in past.

@about my job history as i said earlier i m working as a software engineer for last 3 years.

bro i think you should show every property document be it on ur mothers name..bcoz i think aparently that's the only way to show your stronger ties. You know if you have property on ur mom's name then it seems that you will come back to Pakistan to see your mom or mom's property..Rest is fine..Wish you best of luck.

but she is not my primary sponsor ... and i think you only show property doc and bank statement of a person who is actually Sponsoring u.. ??? isn't that true ?

I think you should mention this in your statement of purpose that your mother is back home and she also has property under her name and you can attach the property documents so that they should know that you have something here in pakistan. If your uncle is your sponsor i dont think showing your mothers property will have a negative affect.

Just write a perfect statement of purpose.. and i dont think you'll have a problem.. Just dont try to dodge them or anything.. say all truth!!

SOP are usually written for Universities .. any way .. can u point me to any sample letter ? or something ... ??

it is not for uni only. U have to show ur purpose in sop so that embassy may know why u r going.

Hey Its just a statement of purpose.. for a university your purpose is getting into the university and for the immigration office your purpose is to get the visa.. so you see your purpose varies at different places.. Its really simple i dont think it should be hard for you to understand or write..

You dont need to write a title... just start like this:

CHC Islamabad

Subject: Study permit application for fall'09

Dear Sir/Madam:

Hi,

You can write in any way you like though it something like a formal letter and u can use any form of salutation. As regards ur mums property u shld include that, it helps also to state ur position in the family for example if u r 1st born or 1st son u could say it would be your duty to develop ur mums land or stuff like that in ur SOP showing how important u r to ur family.
