Dear great members of the Community,

I have been refused study permit to Canada. I wish to re-apply and would like to know if it is possible to use my existing gckey username and password to submit the second application.

If yes, pls show me how to go about it.

Thanks

You can. What were reasons for refusal? Are you addressing them with new documentation? Masters/PhD? Funds?

Yet to get gcms. Its those generic reasons:
1. Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
2. The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
But i wanted to know how to use same old gckey account to apply again.

You can. Not generic as you will have ordered GCMS. Assume you paid first year tuition and showed POF in cash. You need to justify costs and show career/education advancement with higher salary.

I got a scholarship for full tuition and 10,000 cad for living expenses. My brother wrote a sponsorship letter to provide the remaining living expenses as monthly stipend. He added a bank statement.

Somebody told me that my brother should have transferred all the money into my personal account. Not monthly stipend.
Is that a good idea.

No such thing as sponsorship and monthly stipend is not cash in the bank so not counted as POF. Brother’s funds do not have to be considered. You didn’t show enough funds for one person which is $21k (assume you are single). If he wants to provide gift deed, bank draft or GIC for the full amount or part of the amount, he can do so. Dumping money into your account is not a good idea because you have to document where the money came from and it needs to be in your bank for the next 4 months.
