Re-apply when first CEC application in process??

Can anyone tell me if I can re-apply under CEC catagory when my first CEC application is still in process? I applied in June 2011 and suspecting a rejection but I still haven't received any response from VO. Do I need to wait until I receive a formal rejection email/letter or can I apply again while the first application is in process?

Until you get confirmation that you have been approved/rejected, then I would wait if I were you...You can, of course, apply for PNP if you are worried about your application or better still send a case specific enquiry to your visa office about your application for before doing anything else..

why dont you apply for CAIPS/GCMS notes to know the status better.. if you apply now it might take 6 to 7 weeks...

why dont you send supporting documents for your ongoing case that you wish to submit with ur new application? If u can present VO with the new evidence I am sure you can turn arnd the negative decision in ur favor.
