Guys ,

Please give me a supportive hug . I am also in same case . My last name is having two words . The printed only one word in the report . I sent them email same 3 days back . Waiting for their reply . This happened to my upgraded report . And they gave the upgraded report as standard none not specific to CIC . (The one specific to CIC will have a ECA# , whereas standard one have just the ref number). So now I have two issues - to get name corrected and get report specific to CIC .

My bachelor's report is absolutely fine . Just this upgraded one messed up.

I am sure with follow-up WES would heed to your request and change the name on your ECA.
For ECA number are you sure you selected the ECA for immigration purposes in the first place? They have separate ECA for immigration category.

My friend is having an issue.. she has 3 degrees leading up to the final Bachelors..
so its:

Edexcel Level 3 - 2 years
Edexcel Level 5 - 2 years
Bachelors Degree - 1 year

But the name on both the Edexcel Degrees are different from the passport, and incorrect.... so she has 3 different names on all 3 degrees...
Edexcel is not agreeing to change the name, and the uni is not agreeing to contact Edexcel about it either... only the final Bachelor's Degree has it correct.

Were thinking of asking the university to send the transcripts from uni instead of through Edexcel...because they uni will send a sealed copy as it is..
but with the incorrect names..

The final transcript and Degree for Bachelor's has already been sent... but that is only 1 year and doesn't cover all the courses that were needed to attain a Bachelor's degree...

Please advise what can be done in this situation?

Hi Sita,

Yes , I am sure I selected the purpose as ECA. Now they say I have to pay again for duplicate report . Name change - see yday night around 11 pm I got an email saying my WES evaluation is completed . But the online report doesnot show any of name details ( Online feature is not available in my case as it is not specific to CIC ) . So I have to call them today and check with them if they corrected my name and if they say it is corrected then need to order a new CIC report .

Hmmmm.....

Ohkay your case seems slightly different and unique then. Coz in my situation the error in spelling mistake was on their part so when I wrote to them they made the changes and issued both soft copy and a hard copy of the revised ECA which was sent by courier to my home address.
