Hi everybody,
I have applied for visitor visa and was rejected due to:
purpose of visit
travel history
my purpose of visit was to visit my Husband and spend time together ,Unfortunately was denied.
now I want to visit him to celebrate our first engagement anniversary together , but still have weak travel history.
If I reapplied now, Does the travel history will cause rejection again?

appreciate any help

Hi,

my purpose of visit was to visit my Husband and spend time together ,Unfortunately was denied.
Wanting to spend time together = High possibility of overstaying the visit = High possibility of TRV refusal

now I want to visit him to celebrate our first engagement anniversary together
This purpose of visit will not work. I would not reapply

'Travel history' is a generic refusal reason.... the actual refusal could point at a lack of travel history + Other XYZ reasons (which have not been cited in the refusal letter)

1. How long did you want to visit?

2. What's the immigration status of your husband?

3. Are you employed/business + do you own property/land + do you have children/dependent parents + do you depend on someone financially?

Thanks for reply:

1. Seven Weeks just to celebrate christmas and our engagment anniversary. He cannot come to my country because he can not take any more even unpaid vacations.
2.Canadian citizen.
3. I'm full time employed with support letter from my work hospital ( in the first time I was not employed)
I have my parents depending on me.
Not dependant financially on anyone.

MP letters don't help. You also should not book a flight until the TRV is approved.

A seven week visit is too long and demonstrates you have weak ties to your home country. Keep your trip to 2-3 weeks.

Sorry but IMO you are risking another TRV refusal based on your situation. Here's why:
1. Seven weeks = Too long a visit = Weak ties in the home country to return to, including weak employment ties

2. Wanting to celebrate birthdays, Christmas, engagement anniversaries and the like generally don't work as purpose of visits

3. It's generally quite difficult to get a TRV when the spouse is a Canada resident

4. It seems like you have started working recently + if your employer is willing to let you take seven weeks off work = Weak employment ties

I would recommend that your husband start the sponsorship process instead

Letters from MPs don't work.

Instead you must focus on proving that your wife has reasons to return to her home country

Hi
I think your MP is not willing to help you as my MP office asked me for many informations in details about our relationship ,family members ,purpose of visit, support letter from my work in home country also the UCI no. to check our spousal sponsorship file before he signed.
My MP office told me that I have to submit all these things to convince the MP to sign this letter.
But my visa was rejected and I realized that Mp letter is of no benefit.
My advice is to focus on home country ties, when you have strong home ties, financial support, good travel hx your visa will be approved.

If you're reapplying from scratch for a TRV, you must submit all forms again as a complete package, including Schedule A. Do use the 'Come to Canada' + Document checklist for your country to see the list of forms

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention the schedule A for spousal application. do O need to inform CIC that I have been refused for trv since I uploaded the schedule A for spousal app before trv application?..
Sorry, I misread 'Schedule A' as 'Schedule 1' (for a TRV).

No, you don't have inform IRCC
