Good day fellow dreamers! Im from the philippines, I was denied application for working visa last year for the reason that i was not well qualified for the position i was applying for in canada. ( i was a sales representative for 9yrs. And was being hired as kitchen aid in Gp, alberta) i was saddened by the refusal but alas it was logical. This time im planning to reapply, i have finished a course in commercial cooking, and housekeeping management both with National Certificates from TESDA. I have also gained some experiene as weekend housekeeping staff at a hotel here in my city for 3months. And am currently applying for on the job training for housekeeping and commercial cooking in another hotel and restaurant respectively. By june i am planning on basing in manila and do internship in shangrila with the help of my sister in law who works there. Currently my employer in canada is processing my LMO and am hoping i can be able to reapply by august. My question now is, do i stand a chance? Am i considered gainfully qualified already? Im really desperate. I so badly want to be with my fiance who is working in canada now. Thank you very much. I need as much advice as i can. GOD BLESS US ALL!

I remember your posts driftqueen - good that you identified what is lacking in your earlier application and have strived to plug in the gaps. Bravo on not giving up! Continue on the getting work experience and establishing work history related to your track now - I do hope you get your internship and by June and then strive to get at least 6mos out of your internship. Make sure you get employment certificates and if possible, letters of recommendation from your superiors
