I received my CoPR after 10 days i sent my passport photocopy and the passport of my wife. We went flag poll last sunday in Coutts Alberta

I am not an expert so I might be not correct.

I first check first couple pages to see if my 'eligibility, security, criminal record, etc are passed'
Then, I also check the notes / conversations of officers at the back of the GCMS notes.

I just phoned CIC and asked for the status of my application.
They told me that they are still doing a Background Verification.. including the military record I provided them back in early November..

Look at the last few pages first, it has a section named NOTES and you will see multiple notes. Update here what your last 2-3 notes read. It has the assessment of our application

Also check very first two pages of the notes.

Would like to share my good news with everyone here!

I received the golden email just now, 8:01pm PST (Vancouver time). I am a BCPNP inland applicant. Not sure why I received the email in the evening though. I was going to finish my 6 months by this weekend and was thinking if I should call them after that day but surprisingly the golden email just arrived today.

Yes my security check started pretty early but it has been ongoing for over 4 months. I did worry about it a lot while waiting as I thought my background and history was simple and clear. I was a new grad and had only worked for one company in my life. It turns out everything was gonna be fine and good news would come eventually. I wish anyone who is like yesterday's me could feel at least a bit encouraged by reading this. Enjoy life and enjoy work. PPR will come very soon even without your notice.
