I got additional document request for RCMP police letter today. I have criminal record so it may take 120 days to get the letter. The letter is still in progress and due to my record it will take more 2 months to get it. Can I request Cic to get extension for the additional document requested??

im wondering ,knowing that you have a record why didn't you submitted your PCC in the first place along your E-APR ? regardless i think you can either try and contact CIC if not raise a CSE and add a LOE stating your concern .

Did they give you anything after they got your electronic fingerprints? I'm pretty sure I don't have any criminal records in Canada, so not sure how long will it take for them to send the record to my house.

It took me 5 days from the day they took my finger prints. I live in Canada.

That's great! did they send the whole thing to your address? I did mine in BC, but the girl who took my fingerprints that morning was a bit not too happy, so I didn't want to ask too many questions.

Cost me $60 btw.
