RCMP police check twice

Has anyone been in the same situation?
I was asked to submit RCMP police check based on fingerprints on Feb 25 and was submitted on March 03. Today I got another message in mycic asking for RCMP police check based on fingerprint. RCMP check done within Canada. I'm confused why do they need it again and that too based on fingerprint again. ???

Thanks for your answer. Do you have to inform CIC it will take this long? I mean they always give you 30 days to response to any correspondence

If there is no match then you get it within a week. If you need extension then you have to inform CIC and that can be done via CSE
