RCMP police certificate and time line

Hello,

I applied through the Canadian experience class in March, received an AOR the 4th of May. I then waited 6 month before receiving news from Buffalo. I received last week a letter asking for my husband birth certificate as well as an RCMP police certificate.

I sent the document and did the RCMp police certificate through "commissionaires".

My question would be: isn't weird they ask for my husband birth certificate (he is a Canadian). What does this mean?

Does the fact that I was asked for the police certificate means that I will be asked to do the medicals soon?

I am as well on a very tight time line as my work permit expires at the end of April and I really don"t want to loose my job.

They wanted proof that he is Canadian.

It's likely, but no guarantees.
