RCMP letter result

Hi everyone, I recently got my RCMP background check letter and it states:

This certifies that a search of the National Criminal Records repository and Fingerprint Repository maintained by the RCMP concerning the Applicant whose Fingerprints,name, and date of birth appears below could not be associated to any immigration-related file or existing Criminal Record which may be disclosed in accordance with Federal Laws.

So it appears in good.

However, with regards to: "could not be associated to any immigration-related file"
Is that a bad thing? Will that affect anything.I originally came as a student(7 years ago)

nope, should be all good -- it seems something may appear for those that have given biometrics in previous apps (but 7 years ago, biometrics where not a thing).

also, how long did your rcmp check take? i submitted mine on APR 23 and im still waiting-- they havent even processed them according to their email response.

I went to FIPS(rcmp credited agency) on Thursday April 22nd.

So 3 and a half weeks.
They did tell me it would normally take 2 weeks but covid slowed things down

actually, i just got the certificate. the emails said "We are unable to provide specific dates as to when the verification will be completed" --but the letter shows it was actually processed on apr 29, it was just canada post who took forever.

Were they replying you the same message like below on enquiry even after 28th Apr?

yep-- i got an email reply yesterday saying that, so it seems to be an automated message.

in my certificate/later that i got in the mail, it send April 28th
