RCMP from Finland

Hi ,

I just got a mail for RCMP Clearance Certificate.

Since I am in Finland , I went to the police here to ask if they could give me an Ink Fingerprint. I was thinking of sending this to an agency and get the RCMP done.

but i was told by Finnish police that they cannot do this as it is against the law.They don't do fingerprint for civilian purpose.
has anyone faced this issue and how can i get my fingerprint done if the police does not do it?

Hi

This may not be 100% useful But my 2 cent advice.

fingerscan.ca is a Canadian agency which does the RCMP if u give them paper based prints. Drop them an email. They will respond with the docs.

But u need to find an authorized agency in Finland whom fingerscan.ca recognizes to take ur prints.

They just send a msg "You can contact the Canadian or US consulate for fingerprinting."

I just hope I can get it done either at the consulate or they provide me the some authorized agency
