FP submitted on July 7th. Sent an email (CCRTIS-SCICTR@rcmp-grc.gc.ca) to RCMP. Got an auto reply saying I should hear a response in 5 business days...This was 2 weeks ago!

Sent webform to IRCC and received response saying that they have not received the FPs yet!!

I receive FP request for my citizenship application. I am stranded in India. Is there any RCMP approved fingerprint agency in New Delhi India, where I can give my fingerprints ?
Thank you In advance

Congrats!!
Can you pls share when did you submit your fingerprints and from which city?

Windsor and like I mentioned in the same post, submitted FP on 7th.

Hey guys,
Any idea in what situation does IRCC ask for RCMP fingerprints? Can we get them done ahead of time without an IRCC request?
(Planning on going back home in november and thinking if I get a request at that time, will delay application process and if there is a choice of getting in done proactively)

Thanks in advance.

Normally, in order to get fingerprints done, one would need the letter from IRCC requesting the fingerprints. You can try and get a police clearance certificate from RCMP if you want and include it with your application if you still haven't applied.
As for the situation where IRCC asks for fingerprints is possibly when they do a name based search for criminality and find a possible match. Then they can request fingerprints to ensure your identity is not the one that they found in the search.
