RCMP fingerprints timelines

Hello , I am a Citizenship applicant , IRCC has asked for the second time my FP , and my background verification was completed and I was DM but now my background verification returned in progress , i think first FP was expired because it is passed more than 1 year on it, my question is the second request for my FP is an indication that my application is going through or it is just normal because first FP was expired

I think its a standard process if the FP has expired.

I’m Edmonton based and my file is being processed at the same location (test invite has come from Edmonton CIC back in January 2022). I have now got FP request from Vancouver CIC Inquiries, I was wondering if my file has moved to Vancouver or FP request does always come from Vancouver, and my oath (and other steps) will be routed back to Edmonton again down the line?

Can someone throw some light at it? Thanks!

Hello,

your file is still in Edmonton CIC office. Vancouver-CIC is basically a central office for FP inquiries espically for those who live in central and western province.

VANCOUVER Is basically administration and You are lucky because they are fast. I got my ceremony scheduled after 5 days interview. Good luck. Tuesday 26th I'll be a Canadian Citizen after 3 years waiting due to "Covid"

Fingerprints Submitted to RCMP (electronically): July 20, 2022
Fingerprint results Received: August 14, 2022
Background (including Language skills, Physical presence, Prohibitions) Completed: August 15, 2022

Hey! I have a couple questions if you don’t mind - how do you know when IRCC receives fingerprints from RCMP?
Also, did you get a test invite while waiting for this? I mean it does take approximately a month for the whole FP process, I wonder if they schedule the test during this time or no.

Yes, As per my observation FP request takes anywhere btw 3 weeks to 2 months to process.
I recived both(test & FP Req) same day/time
