Hi everyone - Just starting a thread on RCMP fingerprints timelines.

Does anyone who recently made FP request to RCMP know how long it is taking these days for them to send FPs?

I did second FP request on 16 Feb and yet no news.

Mine was processed pretty quickly, postal address hiccups aside. A few days turnaround at the RCMP in Ottawa and then it took about a week to arrive in Vancouver - this was in December/January.

Thank you so much for heads up. My first FP last year was pretty quick, 3 days turnaround from RCMP to IRCC and IRCC confirmed a week later. But it was pre-cvoid.

For 2nd police clearance, I am on working day 5 as of today. I am going to follow up on Monday, 1 March as this would give 8 working days which should be sufficient time to be received by IRCC. I am done with test, done with interview too and now waiting for the FP !!
 
I gave my fingerprints on 17th February. I checked with RCMP today. They haven't processed yet.
 
Oh, they just posted it yesterday and you are yet to get it!! How did you come to know they have posted it? Do they send any email communication that it has been posted. Or perhaps a copy of the report on email?

They posted it directly to Ircc Vancouver. You can check the status by emailing to CCRTIS-SCICTR@rcmp-grc.gc.ca with your dcn number and name.

Hi Peedvar, I am a little confused here, so I have also got a request in my CIC account for the RCMP fingerprint and the agency where I did it from told me that I will be receiving the letter which I can upload later on my CIC account. However as per your comment above it sounds like they're going to send it to the IRCC directly, in that case, what are you going to upload on your CIC portal?

Is your request for Citizenship application? If yes, then either RCMP or you would have to post it to IRCC depending on what and if you gave the address while giving fingerprints. I am not sure if the citizenship process has moved online recently.

My application is for the PR, and I gave my address when I went for the fingerprints.
