RCMP Fingerprint / Canada Post Problems

Hi Everyone,

I had some ink fingerprints taken in the UK that I have mailed to Global ID Services in Calgary. http://canada.morpho.com/contact-us

I mailed my forms on April 4th and they have still not reached their destination. I paid for signed for and tracking but the tracking has said it has been in Toronto since April 12th! I am worried I will run out of time and not get my RCMP check in time to upload to my express entry file.

Has anyone else had similar problems? How close to the deadline should I leave it to try contacting CIC about this problem and what should I say?

The deadline to upload my RCMP check is May 29th.

Did you send it by courier? If not, I would suggest to send new fingerprints by courier.

If you can not receive your RCMP in time (few days before the deadline), I recommend you to upload an LOE and all the support documents showing your effort to obtain the RCMP, and ask them for an extension.

I've just received my police check in time!

However, I need to double check something with everyone here (because I am paranoid)

It says: application type: landed immigrant status.

Is this correct? I've lived in Canada for 2 years but now im back in the UK applying for residency from here.

Has anyone got FP for RCMP as requested beginning of December in Calgary? I got my FP on December 5th and haven’t received mail from RCMP. Wonder if it’s the issue from Canada Post Strike? Thanks
