CHC has started asking for finger prints during their background and security checks. For the help of forum members, i am pleased to explain you the process.
There are three stages of this process.
1- Local verification
2- Digitizing ink-rolled fingerprints
3- Results of RCMP
Local verification
CHC require your digital finger prints and CHC require only digital scan from any (accredited companies). so, please go through this following process if your are in Punjab, Pakistan. (not sure of other provinces)
- renew your police character certificate if expired at very first stage. (department demand renewed certificate, but request them to process as CHC not required you to renew this certificate. but due to procedural protocol finger print bureau will ask to get it renew)
- deposit finger printing fee of Rs. 1000 in head of account C02641 on a Challan form No. 32-A in National Bank of Pakistan branch with description "finger printing processing fee with your CNIC No.
- get a stamp paper of Rs. 50 or 100
- one/two pictures are required to be pasted on stamp paper
- write an application on plain paper to superintendent of police, finger print Bureau, Punjab Lahore that you require prints for visa purpose.
- visit Police training college, near chung Lahore and explain them your purpose of visit.
Digitizing ink-rolled fingerprints
Once they have your finger prints taken on stamp paper, SP will sign and verify this stamp paper. please arrange to send this signed stamp paper to your husband/wife in canada to get it digitilize from any nearby (accredited companies) along with following documents.
- Notirized copy of your CNIC & Passport
- letter that you received from CHC
- signed authority letter with your left thumb impression to submit to (accredited companies). this form can be taken from that security agency in which you are going to submit your ink-rolled finger print stamp paper. authorizing your partner will save courier time.
- Payment instruction i.e 200$ + taxes via credit card etc.
Results of RCMP
- in one week time security agency will submit your digitized finger prints to RCMP and RCMP will return the results to you in Pakistan (if you have not authorized your partner in Canada).
- results received from RCMP will finally be submitted to CHC.
I hope i have explained this process to best of my knowledge and experience.
Best of Luck.
