So here is my situation: (Category - CEC inland.)

ITA - December 26th 2016
Application submitted - Jan 9th 2017
Medical Passed - MArch 17th 2017
RCMP criminal check request - 20th March 2017

I got the RCMP request today and I was wondering what others have done.

1) The CIC letter said that I will have to upload the RCMP document in MyCIC account. But where exactly do I upload this?

2) Does RCMP take a long time time to mail you the documents? Is it even a paper document or is it electronic?

3) Is it faster if I go to one of the listed third party agency? How much do they/RCMP charge for this?

4) I live in Toronto, so does anyone have a recommended place that's easy to get an appointment from?

5) And overall, any tips for the whole process?

I can only answer one of your questions, and that is where you should upload it. In your application, there should be a folder created to you at the exact same page where you uploaded all your other documents when first submitting your application.
You need to submit the application again (except no fees) with this requested document. Good luck

1. Click on "View submitted documents" and you can see there is a new slot to upload RCMP PCC
2. According to RCMP website, takes within 3 business days if no match, then RCMP mail you a paper report from headquarters in Ottawa
3. Just go to RCMP police station and check if they could do fingerprint. If yes, tell them you are using the PCC for PR application. They charge me around $75 in Vancouver
4. I have no idea in ON. But in BC, it is as simple as drop by at RCMP station and it takes 20 mins for whole process.
5. Do it ASAP. Canada Post takes lots of time in deliver mail to you.

I didn't see fingerscan.ca as an Accredited fingerprint company in the RCMP website.

But anyone familiar with 'Canadian Corps of Commissionaires' (www.commissionaires.ca) at Downtown Toronto? They are listed in the RCMP website (http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/who-can-conduct-criminal-record-check).

Otherwise the nearest RCMP police station for me is near Pearson Airport, if anyone is familiar with it.

your on the right track go with commissionaries and they will mail you your document in 5 business days including the mailing time if there is no criminal record found

I did it thru https://www.fingerscan.ca/ and I received the documents in by mailbox within a week, I guess. It was the most easy PCC which I got among all PCCs, which I had to get.

IT DOESNT MATTER WHO U GET THE PCC THRU AS LONG AS IT IS ISSUED BY RCMP.

I DID MINE WITH THEM TOO AND RCMP MAILED IT DIRECTLY TO ME.

I am not sure who can help me but my son and I did R MO I got mine back but not my son anditis got my over a month now. My son is a victim of bullying and was charged twice however those charges were withdrawn.
Can anyone help me in knowing how can this affect our PR application and if this is the reason I haven't received his clearance back as yet.
This is really worrying me!!!
I would really appreciate someone even trying to answer me.
Thank u

Also, how old is your son?

My son is now 19. So you are saying my sons is not clean
I really don't understand these things and it is really bothering me and making me very worried.
Does this means my son have a criminal record?
And how long could his own take then?
Please help me understand if u can.
Thank you

Did the charges happen before he turned 18? Did you declare in the statutory questions that he had been charge before?

He will have a record if he was charged.

Were the charges inside Canada or in USA?
