Hello,

I am applying for pr skilled worker.

I need information about getting fingerprinting done for the RCMP police/criminal record clearance from mumbai. I have following questions please.

1) Where can i get the acceptable fingerprinting done in mumbai for sending to rcmp in canada.
2) what is the procedure. how long does it take to get the fingerprinting done.
3) what documents are needed for fingerprinting
4) fees involved are
5) any other imp info related to matter

I know it is too late to reply these questions. I thought the following information may be helpful for future applicants.

I was having similar problem to get RCMP clearance while living overseas. I checked their website and found that the turnaround time can be
11 weeks.

I found a company Worldwide Forensic Services Inc. (fingerscan.ca) in Toronto , who provided clearance letter in less than 10 days.
This company is accredited by the RCMP and they can scan fingerprints from the fingerprint cards/forms and submit them to the RCMP electronically. As per RCMP, the electronic fingerprint applications can be processed in 72 hours as compared to the 11 weeks turnaround time for the hard copies.
