Hi CEC2013,
I am from Guelph and I went yesterday,i.e 10th July to get my finger prints done. She didn't ask me to fill in any form or anything, she just took my photo, took all the fingerprints & done..She said this fingerprint would be sent to RCMP then will be returned in 2-3 weeks time, and I need to go & pick from her office ? I need to then send it to CIC.Is it what you did too?Did I do anything wrong? Please advice.
I am worried.
Thanks,
Jesuslu

Thats quite correct! Picture and fingerprint (biometric)...which are then transmitted electronically to RCMP - who run your request. There was only one real choice you could have made and that was to request the results be sent directly to CPP-O, if your file is already being processed (received AOR). But yea, I went the same route...picked up from her office in 1 week and included that RCMP letter with my application.

When the results come in, you will need to either include them in your application (if you are just applying) or send it on to CPP-O, if you file is already being considered (you have an AOR, app number and UCI).

Dont worry, this step is quite simple!

All I meant was that I did an upfront RCMP check, so I included that when applying initially (package first sent ot CIO)...didnt wait for a request from CIC. So, since you are an August applicant...then you should be sending the RCMP results to CPP-O, since your file is already being processed. Just take a deep breath...no worries!

And good luck with your app! ;D

So, just one more question, is there a form to be filled as per the website Form-c216c...& sent along with fingerprint?Any idea?I know you sent it beforehand ,but have you come across just kind of discussions in the forum, like this...there should be some forwarding letter to this fingerprint certificate right?

I have the same question. What should be included when mailing to CIC?
