Could someone please guide me as to how to get RCMP done from INDIA. (PUNJAB)
I have an AOR of 19th July.
Passed medical on 8th August
I had studied in Canada from 2009-2011 as a result of which they have asked for additional documents in the form of RCMP based on fingerprints.
I have contacted the certified agencies and they have sent mails and explained the procedure to be adopted.
However, my local police (Patiala) says that they are not entitled to take my fingerprints and i have to go to Phillaur (another city) where it has its Fingerprinting Bureau.
Anyone lese gone through the same in this part of the region ?

Hey,
I have done my fingerprints from fingerprints office in Phillaur(punjab) on RCMP C216 form and Posted them to my lawyer in canada where he from some agency converted them to electronic fingerprints and sent them to RCMP headquarters in ottawa and applied for police clearance certificate.still waiting for the certificate

Hi all! hope you will be able to help me.. I was being asked to provide RCPM fingerprints for my PR application, which I did, last Thursday on July 4th, in an office in Toronto. My concern - I did not heard back anything yet and I'm a bit concerned because I was under the impression that this is a pretty fast forward process and that I should receive it in max 3 business days.. Can anyone share their experience please? Thank you!

Yes, I was under impression that it takes 3 business days for RCMP if there is NO criminal record.

You can call RCMP or even leave them an email to know status of your application.

I think the best place to get fingerprints taken in Punjab would be Global Live Scan Fingerprinting in Patiala. They are an associate of a Canadian company Worldwide Forensic Services inc., and provide full service at one stop.

I have few queries as stated below:-
1. Do we need to book an appointment with fingerprinting office in Phillaur(punjab)?
2. Total cost of getting this done?
3. Any online links that will be helpful?

Any leads are appreciated!

Hi, Can you help me understand the process as well? I am guessing you already went through the process and got your RCMP certificate. Appreciate it!
