Congrats! There is still no timeline with people with COPR after March correct? What's your ballpark plan currently?

Totally, no rush for me. Only plan to move permanently in 2022. For now, I have decided to fulfill my role in my team and to give sufficient time to train my juniors to take over certain roles. I have been holding some important responsibilities in the project, so I just want a nice exit since my boss has been very supportive, even in providing the employment proof for my PR application (I wrote the letters, so they were in super details, covering all points that IRCC required).

But at least with the COPR at hand, I know firmly that I can move forward in my life.

Hey, I have read a lot about the challenges faced by the new immigrants in Canada. At the end of the day, this is a big change in our lives, and all changes come with great difficulty. I learnt not to set my expectation too high, too. But this does not mean I can't be excited.

Still not, unfortunately. Eligibility and background checks are in progress, and estimated completion is 10 Jan. As far as I know, eligibility passing is often around 4 months in, which is actually right now for me, so hopefully I'll see an update soon. Thanks for checking in!

I would like to direct a question towards the French heroes like @jrossi ...im learning French at the moment using apps and a few books... Would you think that would suffice or are classes with personal trainers necessary... I am a fast learner and I speak 4 languages fluently on a native speaker level and 2 languages in an advanced intermediate level... And no none of them are romance languages
