another draw missed out, losing hope now that itll not drop to 466 again.

Was at 471 last month then the dreaded 5 point drop due to birthday. Only improvement i can make on IELTS that would give me additional points is in writing, and even then that will only net me an additional 3 additional points (currently L:9, R:8.5, S:9, W:7).

Getting points for my masters, for work foreign work experience, and for a PR sibling in Canada already. Just a waiting game now and hope that there is a PNP tech draw (im NOC 2171) or the EE dips to 466.

Fingers crossed for everyone

think ill most likely go down the spousal visa route (as soon as the borders open up for me and my fiancé to get married that is) if the scores don't drop for EE. Cant do the study permit as i don't plan on going back to school- my bachelors then masters was enough for me.

Never say Never. Give Ielts another shot to get 469. No one knows the mind of IRCC, what if a B2B happens, what if 4,200 becomes the Norm until December where we will get 3 draws. Hey buddy, keep hope alive and never say Never

I will advice you take ielts again
I was in a similar situation. On 1st sept i was at 471 with ielts 8.5,9,7.5,7( lrws). People here encouraged me to retake the ielts for extra .5 in speaking.

Took ielts on 9th sept, got the result ( 9,9,7.5,7.5 LRSW) ON 14TH SEPT , crs became 474 and got ITA on 16th sept.

So i would also suggest to try for every extra point you can get.

Call WES urgently and delete your old evaluation which you will not use. Do not make the stupid mistake of keep the Pg diploma evaluation open, your file will be declined because of 2 contradicting evaluations. (It has happened to members on the forum here)

Hi, Could you guide what to write to WES?

P.S. - I am yet to get an ITA but have two different evaluations (Two or more Degrees-WES and Masters-IQAS)

Quick question for inland FSW applicants who studied in Canada:

When filling previous jobs in Canada, did you add your PT student jobs? If Yes, did you choose the "Work Permit no LMIA" drop-down Option or the "No work permit required" one.

I'm asking because I worked PT off campus for a bit and never needed a WP as I had a valid Study permit throughout my stay.

@scylla would you happen to have an idea about this?

Editted for grammar.

Sorry - don't know.

Even I'm sitting at 467. IELTS Score - L8 R7 S7.5 W7
Will lose points by Feb 2021
I'm into IT and NOC 2173
Missed OINP due to the delay in my ECA report
Is it advisable to write IELTS once again and just wait to see the score dipping? Cos by Jan, there will be a tech draw (200 %) and hopeful of that anyways. But at the same time, there is uncertainty as well due to this pandemic.

I thought that getting OINP and not accepting it made you intelligible for future OINP opportunities. Might be wrong tho

Think his profile somehow became ineligible. Poor dude, he had been quite active and positive.
