My partner's score just went up to 474 (TEF), hope he gets his ITA next FSW draw. It's been a long ride!!
Guys, I received today some sort of "ghost update".
Yesterday I got the message on my inbox stating that I had an update on my profile, it was the ITA message. Now, today I got the same message on my mail inbox, but once I login in, there's nothing new on my profile. Is it normal?

Unless IRCC returns to bi-weekly all program draw, the score will probably stay at 475.....
Guys I need your help in making a decision. I'm on 468 with (8777) with spouse and attempted to max out IELTS but unfortunately received the following score today:
L: 8.5
R: 9
W: 6.5
S: 7.5
In task 2 writing the question was: These days children can learn about the world from watching film
1. What sort of things they can learn?
2. Are all these good?
Give your opinion from own experience or knowledge.
I attempted IELTS 3 times including this one and in past two exams I got 7 in writing so I am somewhat confident on my writing skills. But in this particular question somehow I didn't see the word "world", hence, addressed the answer in general perspective, such as films are educational, inspirational unlocking many potentials among youngsters. On the other hand having detrimental impact (violence, drugs, sex)
So overall I haven't say anything about learning about the world.
Considering aforementioned scenerio should I go for review in the writing part?

No one can predict what might happen next. If they keep the alternate pattern onwards, it could stay above 471 since there will be only 4-5 all program draws before year end. All we can do is to pray that IRCC will resume bi-weekly draws. It is very unlikely though. The pandemic is still on a rampage. The quickest way out of this pandemic is to have a vaccine, which is the real ray of hope for most people now.
Learning about the "world" has a general implication, it can pretty much mean anything, so from that perspective you should not come up short. Since children are the subject, if you have covered learning about the natural and physical world then that is appropriate. There are several yardsticks for IELTS writing, and you are talking about task response, which is just one. There is also the letter which counts. If you feel you have done better than this then go for a review.

Now I am planning for marriage!!!
My combined score with my to be spouse will be 8 points more than the round of invitation in which I got invitation!!!!
Do I have decline the invitation?
Or
Can I add my spouse directly into my profile by informing IRCC?
Do I have to fill the form IMM008

Guys, I have a question regarding the personalized checklist. Based on what I read, now that I have the ITA, I must click on the "continue application" and then filled up the questionnaire, after completing the fields, I'll get my personalized checklist of required documents. Is that right?
So, right now I'm single, I was delaying my marriage with my boyfriend because of the whole COVID situation, but now it is impossible to continuing delaying the marriage, since we have both planned this whole process together. So my question is: can I fill up this questionnaire now with my personal data as single (since I'm still single), just to get the checklist, and then update the questionnaire later on (probably 2-3 weeks fromnow) to add my husband as soon as we get married to get the updated checklist?
Or can I already "pretend" I'm married to get the personalized "married" checklist in advance? Would that represent misrepresentation somehow?
