Wow, f my 478 luck.... Missed the July 8th ITA because of date cutoff, and missed the Tech Draw by the one point they deduct....
I am the 0.01%, hopefully in two weeks can get the ITA with an all program draw :/

Guys, do we have anyone who have applied for OINP already? I have a question regarding filling the "Other Activities" section.

The question I have is, do we have to mention any travel overseas while being employed? For example, I'm employed and I have traveled abroad for vacation. In this scenario do we need to mention it in the other activities section?

No reliable prediction on this until we can figure out how Canada would resume FSW draws. So I'd urge you to wait till Aug 5th and maybe even till Aug 19th before concluding. If both of those are FSW draws, then a high chance. Otherwise, a low chance I'd say.

Quite difficult in 2020. There are many FSW candidates in the 465 to 470 range, it'll take a while to clear. Would be wise to see if you can increase your score by any means possible, or to see if your NOC qualifies for any PNP - Ontario and Saskatchewan have started issuing PNPs again and their NOCs are fixed. So easy enough to check.

Lol.... so with all the covid crisis in the US, they still get preferential treatment....lol, in the end... someone said to me that Canada’s recent immigration actions is more political and less health related... maybe there’s a little sense in that. Lol

Guys, I have a doubt while preparing documents for OINP. This is related to my wife's (Primary Applicant) name. Her first name is Aaquibah Nashry and the last name is Mohamed Rauf. The question is in some of her employment letters (i.e appointment letter, salary revision letter etc) the name is addressed as M. R. A. Nashry (which is with initials). In the education transcripts it is mentioned as Mohamed Rauf Aaquibah Nashry (These are same as the passport name) and in the salary slips it is mentioned as Nashry Rauf.

Is this alright as the main names have not changes? Or do I need to provide any additional documents? I hope it is going to be the same for OINP and EE profile.
