It is a past employer actually.

I left the job with that employer in 2015. When I initially started planning for immigration in 2018, I reached out my employer (basically the supervisor I was working with) and requested for the reference letter. This is because I didn't want to delay it keeping in view the excuses coined by the employers sometimes as well as the management change that might take place any time. After some struggle, I was able to obtain the reference letter meeting the IRCC requirements.

But I am worried if I need to submit the profile now, would that reference letter dated 2018 be still valid? Because getting it renewed might be a long hassle.
You have nothing to worry about. Just ensure that it stated clearly the start and end date of the job. If the officer that will look at your file needs further clarifications with regards to the letter, he/she would reach out to the contact on the letter directly.

What's your CRS?

Any hope for people with CSR 461?
Is there anyway you can improve your scores? 461 is not impossible - especially now that the score is expected to plummet - but don't be over-reliant on chances because it might take a while before you get an ITA and a lot could change in between.

Yes, the letter covers the starting the ending date of the job along with the contact details of the employer so that's not the issue.

CRS is 468. Don't know how FSW reacts after opening up. Hoping for a score to decrease to have an invite.

Hi I have a query about PCC.
I am a trying to get PCC from Indian embassy in Bahrain as currently I live in Bahrain. Indian embassy has outsourced IVS company for PCC and they are saying that they cannot process the PCC untill I give them proof of immigration.
My bday is on 30th Aug I m expecting ITA next draw so I have around 1 month to submit the document. IVS saying it takes around 30 days for PCC.

Please suggest what can be done.
Thanks

What if the greatest proportion of candidates in 471 to 480 are those with 471? We never can tell as we dont have thr exact breakdown of the different scores
That's true buddy. Looking at past profile trends, and scrutinizing each category, it could be possible to see a draw between 473-476 for the July 16th, if so. Henceforth, a draw on July 30th may drop us further below to somewhat 467-468.

Well, obviously this is based on trends and some mathematical modelling, and I will still be skeptical.

Any comments and further analysis will be much appreciated.

It all depends on the rate of entrants joining the pool which nobody knows whether it will stay the same or go up

July 16th, that’s assuming we get a back to back draw... I really hope.

Hey guys. So the previous draw was on 8th July right? Isn't the next draw supposed to be two weeks after, that is, on 22nd July? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, you need to update it. They won't accept anything that is older than 6months from the date of submission. For past employment, there's no expiry date and if IRCC need to verify, they will reach out to whatever contact they avail on the letter or even visit your office.
Is there any place where this 6 month limit is stated officially? Or is it just based on reports of other people here in the forum?

I also have a query regarding employment experience letter. I had plans for Canadian immigration for some time and hence I got my experience letter on the IRCC guidelines in late 2018. It meets all the IRCC requirements. I was wondering, would I be needing to get an updated letter of employment in case I receive ITA?
As another member has said, if you are still there, you need to get an updated one. If you're not there anymore, you can use it as is. It doesn't have to be signed by your manager, it can be HR.

Yes every two weeks on Wednesday was the earlier pattern before the COVID19 halt

Other users have only been speculating. There is no information that confirms this will happen.
However, since VACs around the work have resumed their operations, IRCC might want to catch up the number of overseas applicants by conducting a B2B draw. Moreover, the first 2 weeks of April were also blessed with 2 B2B CEC draws, too. So let's wait and see!
