You just posted what was going on in my head...
On top of all this, the Canadian Immigration Minister has sent a virtual invitation to all the H1Bs to come over to Canada. The pool is already overcrowded.
Now all those H1Bs that have made a great fortune in the US will join the pool and set foot on Canada as well.
Boy oh boy. Gone are the golden days of immigration.
Still it is their country, their wish.
IRCC can at least reveal their intention. We can better do something else and not to waste the golden times of our lives.
IRCC won't even do that. Such a trap we are into. |
I will better tweet IRCC once again to disclose their plans, so that, we can adjust the direction accordingly. This is seriously wastage of time.
Learning French now or improving other skills will again take away 6 or 9 months more of our time while CEC exclusive draws happen.

Just curious. Have you maxed out on IELTS or CELPIP already?

That's true. If they can just confirm on their intention for fsw, we can atleast start our plan B.

Guys
Trying to assess the potential impact of H1Bs towards Canadian immigration

regarding this, what would be the max score of a potential H1b applicant from the US ( less than 30 years of age, masters and 3 yr work experience)?
Can anyone shed some insights into this ...

FYI, most of them are married and might have siblings in Canada who went for study.

sincerely, 2020 would be the last time we would see the 470’s

Most H1Bs are IT with Masters degrees. They range from 1-8 years in experience. A large portion of them graduate from the IIT colleges in India.

~436 if they get 8 7 7 7 higher is they max out I guess

The problem is there are cases rising in key countries, which is probably why they are not inviting FSWs.

I don't think they want to invite candidates and then have to bar specific countries.

Lol, actually my friend called me yesterday saying he is looking into Canada to settle down as life in USA for h1b is very uncertain. He has brother who recently got PR in Canada. So yeah he can get that additional points for siblings.

Eventually, they will have to bar some countries. The EU are already considering travel bar for US travelers while they monitor situations

I have a feeling that they might conduct 10 PNP + CEC draws altogether (today's one is the 8th) and start the all programs draw. So I hope we can see the all programs draw restarting again at least by 5th of August 2020. Just my gut feeling :)
