Fair enoughYes,
If the CEC candidates were highest ranking, then CRS wouldn't have gone that low, right?
Hopefully they will eliminate the requirement of visa stamping and steps that requires VACs and introduce online based procedures..... Lets see....I emailed my local VFS now (South Africa) to find out if they can tell me anything about when they might reopen. The website just says the Canadian VACs in Cape Town and Pretoria are closed. Nothing about reopening.
I dont have a point bro, just stuck here by seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Hope that it is not an illusion. An

Can you please explain this ? Before the lock down the cutoffwas 470+ ? Since most of the CEC applicant have been invited so shouldn't the score be low now ? also hoping that there wont be many CEC draws anymoreFair enough

That’s what we’re all hoping for. Let’s keep hopingI dont have a point bro, just stuck here by seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Hope that it is not an illusion.
Hopefully the highest points get cleared in first draw and only adequate high ranking profiles enter the pool from there on. Then we are back to normal I guess......
Definitely a disappointing one at this time. But some comfort is that ECA organizations have not resumed their in-office operations and not every university in India would be willing to send electronic transcripts.A good news for u some or may be not , ielts paper based exam was conducted in 7 cities in India , with 50 candidates in a hall , and was a success . Ielts gonna happen soon in all cities soon , be ready for 470+ again
Most countries have one database for criminal records.... I’m not sure what is obtainable in India but it makes absolutely no sense to limit PCCs to States.I have a question about PCC. I got mine in December from my current place of residence in the city that I was employed. With this situation, we have gotten work from home till end of the year. So am considering moving to my home town for a few months. My PCC was obtained in December so it has expired. The question is can I get PCC from any city in my home country? Or do I need to get it from the city where I have stayed last two years? Both are in India so am hoping a PCC is pan country and shouldn't be limited to one city.

YesThank you guys! Although my PCC doesn't have an expiry date but read somewhere IRCC considers it valid for 6 months.
