But in the CRS tool on the cic website my score is changing from 467 to 461 after I increased my age by one year but a lot of people were saying 5 points...was confused

Isn't weird that the cut off date is the same? 4th of july.

Is it possible that someone updated their profile, and then the cut off is more "recently"?

If you have applied as a single applicant it will reduce by 6 points. For people applying together with their spouse, it reduces by 5 points.
