Thanks a lot guys. I got a CLB8 for Listening and CLB9 for Reading. Btw, I absolutely love the fact that TCF "sur ordinateur"/"computer delivered" shows your scores for Reading/Listening right away... IELTS should do that too!

Now I need to wait around 10 business days until I receive the Speaking/Writing scores.
And of course, if I don't get it this time, another session of the TCF is always 2 months away. haha.
Those are very good scores, congratulations!
Do you mind sharing where you took the test and how many candidates took the test along with you?
Can you also share the topics for the EE and EO sections?

Congrats bud! That's really nice progress. You should be proud of that. I hope you get good results for the others. And yes, I think being shown some results on the spot is awesome! :D

Is there a resource where we can see the CRS distribution of those who just entered the pool? I joined the pool today with a CRS of 474. I’m calculating the odds of me receiving an ITA this coming draw. Thanks!

Hello,

Anybody here gave the IELTS speaking test wearing a mask? How did it go?

Please help, I have mine scheduled Friday
I gave mine with the mask on. Try to speak louder and clear, and if you are a bit shy then masks will help you become more talkative cause your face is not showing. I got 7.5 n my speaking. Good luck on Friday

I think the next all program draw will be 474, but don't think the date cut-off will be August..

Hi Guys

Although I know there are separate threads for these queries would still appreciate your feedback.

So I have been in the pool since 11th March after CES took 5 months to evaluate both degrees. Lost points in April and currently standing at 469. I have started French lessons but by the time I appear for the test and update the profile, I would have lost more points sure to age in April 2021.

My fiance and I have living apart for this entire duration. He is a PR of Canada. We thought FSW might be the fastest way to reunite and hence that was our first option. Now it just looks the end of the tunnel with FSW.

I have heard spouse sponsorship takes a while and is taking even longer at the moment. I have a stable job in India and was recently appraised as well. Been with the company for over 3 years. My immediate family stays here and I just have a car here, no property. So what are the chances of TRV so at least we can be together for a while.

And any idea about the fastest route forward? Would really appreciate any help.

Do a candidate gets any document to show to the physician/doctor for upfront medical test after getting ITA? Because I am expecting an ITA on Sep 02 if FSW draws happen, so doing medical test booking in advance but the hospital guy said to show a document which you got from CIC? What does that mean? Dont they do booking on the basis of passport number ?

Once you receive your ITA, book your appointment. On the day of your medicals, carry your passport and copy of ITA letter.

I have the same sort of question. Since I believe I won't receive my TCF results before the next FSW draw, but just after it, and then I will need to wait a full 4 weeks until the next general draw :-(
I would love to know if I can speedup the process by booking my medicals without any ITA reference code or something like that. So that once I get the ITA in late September/Early October, I can submit my eAPR on the same day.

I did a test in a very small school that happens to be located right on the city where a live (Curitiba, Brazil). They only book a maximum of 2 applicants per session (and they have 2 sessions/day). But due to COVID, they were only allowing 1 student per session.
Regarding the topics, you actually sign a NDA term before starting the test.

People are doing upfront medicals here in Nigeria. I find it weird that they asked the guy to provide medical request letter before allowing him to do his medicals.

Well, it could be a case of different strokes for different folks.

According to this link (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...l-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html), It looks like the only thing I will need if the form 1017B, which will be provided by the physician. And I took a look at the form, and it doesn't have at field that requires a special code provided post-ITA.

Is my understanding correct?
