Thank you for the response @13nitinsharma!! I am a bit overwhelmed with the process. I was wondering if you could answer some of my questions.

1. Last OINP draw as for CEC only. is this one for foreign skilled workers?
2. If I receive NOI, I'll have 45 days to submit my application. Will I still be in EE pool in these 45 days? OINP costs you an additional 1500 CAD and the process is a bit longer than EE. Idk if it would be a good idea to accept the invitation or shall I wait in the EE pool since I have 474.
3. How long do I have to accept the invitation? I know I'll have 45 days to submit the application once accepted.

Please correct me if I am wrong. TIA
If you recieve the NOI.... accept it... a bird at hand.. you can’t tell me your not tired of this fsw waiting game.

FSW candidate?
At this point, for the OINP Tech Draw it makes 0 sense for CEC only. Most of them have already gotten an ITA. Should be mostly FSW. Very different situation when they gave Tech Draw NOI earlier this year when the pandemic was just starting..

Anyone know where we can find the minimum CRS for this Ontario tech draw? Or are they not publishing that this time?

Tech Draw: OINP to issue Notifications of Interest for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream
On July 29, 2020, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will issue targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream and have specific work experience.

If you receive a NOI, you do not need to contact the program.

If you receive a NOI on July 29, 2020 and can demonstrate that your work experience is in one of the eligible NOC codes listed below, you may apply to the HCP stream.

The OINPwill target candidates with work experience in the following National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) range of the draw will be posted on the Express Entry Notifications of Interest page on July 29, 2020.

0213 Computer and information systems managers
2147 Computer engineers
2172 Database analysts and data administrators
2173 Software engineers and designers
2174 Computer programmer and interactive media developers
2175 Web designers and developers

To be eligible for nomination, applicants must demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOCcodes. Your application may be refused if you do not demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes.

Through this dedicated approach, we’re helping to make it easier for businesses in the technology sector to recruit top talent from around the world.

To ensure that this initiative meets the needs of Ontario employers, we engaged with stakeholders across the province through a survey and face-to-face consultations. This helped us choose priority occupations for the targeted technology occupations draw.

For more information on this initiative, please visit the OINP Tech Draw page.
