Are you implying that CIC should charge us for making express entry profile and issuing ITA ? That would be plain ridiculous.
I think he was just stating that they are NOT charging until you actually get through which is FAIR. At least that's what I got from reading his post

Hi all,
I was eagerly waiting for the draw which never took place today. I was expecting an invitaion( CRS 490). Next week my work permit will expire, and I will enter the 90 day grace period. I am going to apply for a visitor visa this week.
my question is ,
Can i stay in canada while that 90 day grace period and get an ITA ? will it be refused by IRCC since im here illegally (technically?) . i will still have my visitor visa application in progress while i will get my ITA in next draw.
I could visit the USA while they process my application in worst case scenario.

thanks
What type of work permit do you have?
In some cases you can play a bit of waiting game:
You will ask for work permit extension which will be rejected (but it will give you a bit time to stay on implied status). If you are able to send your application fast, you might try to apply for BOWP using your implied status.
good luck

Guys, come on....if approximately 70,000 to 75,000 people go through the system till the end every year paying $1,000 each. That means IRCC is getting close to $70 Million per year from those who go through the system. Pretty sure, their annual budget is not that big. They must be making a nice profit too.

Don't worry too much guys, there are only so much capable people with 440+ scores, these guys will be cleared in 2-3 draws (assuming the coming draws take place at 2-week intervals).
To meet annual ITA targets, lowering CRS score and increasing ITA number are the only ways. Just chill and enjoy the evening

Hi guys,

I just wanted to know, how long does it take to get into the pool.
I created my profile on 1st June and haven't received any mail from CIC about my profile entering the pool.

I disagree with you sir, we pay for the services by way of the processing fees CAD$550 and CAD $490
I respectfully disagree.
These are called processing fees.
Are you so naive to think that IRCC is functioning based on the money they receive from you? Doesn’t a consultant charge you USD1000 to do all your paper work. If his/her business is sustainable based on USD1000 they receive from you, then by your logic the cost of operation of IRCC is same as that consultant of yours.
IRCC isn’t only spending money to process your application, but also to keep their systems running, to do research, etc. it’s the tax payers money that is used for that. Clearly you don’t pay taxes to the Canadian govt. as of yet. Hence my point.

Can we stop about discussing about IRCC's ethics/morality and concentrate on analysis and plan Bs,Cs?

It was successfully submitted on June 1st.
My score is at 438, is that a reason why>?
I guess you are in the pool. Check your status at MyCIC (in your logged area). I was in the pool the second the system gave me my score.
